The service is available 5 days a week during regular business hours.
How Does Online Instant Notary Service Work?
Accessing NotaryPro’s Online Instant Notary Service is easy. All you need to do is upload your documents and ID and join the queue. You’ll be able to see how many people are ahead of you, and once your notary is ready to meet, you’ll join your appointment online. During your meeting, you’ll be guided through the signing process. As soon as your documents are complete, you’ll receive them in your email in seconds.
How long does the process take?
From start to finish, NotaryPro’s instant service can take as little as 10 minutes– no pre-booking necessary!
Which Documents Can Be Commissioned Online?
Nearly every document that requires a commissioning can be completed during your Online Instant Notary appointment. These can include affidavits and statutory declarations like the Statutory Declaration in Lieu of Guarantor Form (PPTC132), Travel Consent letters, and business documents like CCDC 9A / 9B Forms for contractors.
This is by no means an exhaustive list. Learn more about documents that can be commissioned online by clicking here.
There are a few limitations for documents that don’t yet qualify for our Instant Service, these include: Last Will & Testament and Power of Attorney (please book our Virtual Witnessing service for these instead!).
You must also meet with a notary in person to notarize Trusts (including Testamentary Trust), Negotiable Instruments (Cheque, Promissory Notes, Loan Agreements, etc), Payment Bond or letter of credit, a document of title (e.g. bill of sale, deed), Certified true copies of original paper/printed documents, and Separation/Divorce Agreements.
How Much does it cost?
Our instant service fee is $8.95 in addition to our regular commissioning fees which can be found on our prices page.
