Robert is the founder and CEO of NotaryPro. Founded in 2016 as a side-gig, Robert grew the company from a one-person operation to over 210 notaries and counting. Robert oversees the strategic direction of NotaryPro, and provides guidance and advice on the legal and regulatory environment that NotaryPro works in. He has a JD from University of Windsor and lives in Toronto, Canada.

David Barder, Chief Marketing Officer

David is the Chief Marketing Officer of NotaryPro. With over 13 years of strategic marketing and brand development, David is responsible for building NotaryPro’s client base, brand messaging, go-to-market strategy and lead generation tactics. He has an MBA from University of St. Gallen and is a passionate sailor. He lives in Ottawa, Canada.

Charles Segal, Chief Revenue Officer

Charles is a serial entrepreneur with a background in IT services and a track record of success building high earning cash flow positive businesses. He is founder of River Analytics and was previously an Innovation Manager for Procter & Gamble’s global financial operations. He holds an MBA from Ryerson University and lives in Ottawa, Canada.

Talia Wang, Paralegal, International Document Specialist

Talia is a licensed paralegal with the Law Society of Ontario. She graduated from Centennial College in Paralegal Education and received her license and notary public appointment in 2020.

Cecilia Xu, Software Engineer

Cecilia is a graduate from the University of Toronto with a major in Computer Science and Mathematics, and a minor in Statistics. She’s spent the last two years working closely with NotaryPro’s current COO, Charles Segal at River Analytics. She’s part of the original team that built NotaryPro’s Remote Online Signing platform, and has contributed to the development of both its front and back end. Additionally, she has experience with web, mobile app and software development.

Candice comes to us with over 18 years of management experience in the hospitality industry. And she’s now bringing her knowledge, expertise and organizational skills to the NotaryPro table.
